Day 1 with Darkell S.

Interviewer:So please introduce yourself Darkell:I'm Darkell S.
Interviewer:Where are you from?
Darkell:I'm from the NYC
Interviewer:So,Darkell do you like reading?
Darkell:Yes I do.In fact I was one of the top 10 readers in my elementary school.
Interviewer:Can you elaborate more on that?
Darkell:Sure.In elementary school there would be people to walk around the school to look at you while you read and write.Sometimes the would pull you out and ask you to read to them and write 1 paragraph about what you read. When you finished they would give you feedback on how you did.I got pulled out by a lady named Ms.Santiago.She was a Puerto Rican immigrant and boy was she pretty.She took me to a room on the 2nd floor and ask me to pick any book to read.She was nice.To impress her I picked a "Big Boy" book which was a level Z book.When I read the 1st chapter I was surprised that I didn't mess up.She told me to hold on while she told my principal what I just accomplished.Now i had to read to my principal and boy was I scared.I read the 2nd chapter to her an she was so impressed she put on the top 10 readers in the school.
Interviewer:Interesting So,what school did you go to anyway?
Darkell:P.S 243 in bklyn
Interviewer:And how did you feel after this was accomplished?
Darkell:Pretty excited I guess.
